The CDBG-MIT Public Services Program is designed to provide essential funding to eligible entities for delivering targeted assistance and resources to vulnerable populations, ensuring they are informed and equipped to handle disasters. At the heart of this initiative is the Community Resilience Program (CRP).


Community Resilience Program

CRP encompasses six priority areas:
  • Food Security, focusing on improving access to nutritious food.
  • Comprehensive Case Management, offering personalized support for navigating services and resources.
  • Wraparound Needs, providing holistic assistance to individuals and families.
  • Enhanced Community Safety and Security, which includes crime prevention, public safety initiatives,
    and comprehensive response services.
  • Improved Access to Healthcare, ensuring essential medical services are available to those in need.
  • Technology-Based Resiliency Programs, leveraging digital tools for disaster preparedness and response.
Through proactive interventions and robust support networks, the CRP aims to foster more resilient and sustainable communities, enhancing their capacity to withstand and recover from disasters.
