What Is A Subrecipient?

A Subrecipient is an entity that is provided CDBG-DR funds by VIHFA for their use in carrying out agreed-upon, eligible activities including autonomous and semi-autonomous, and other governmental agencies and non-profit organizations. Subrecipients are not Developers or Contractors.

An agency or organization interested in becoming a Subrecipient must meet the criteria stated above, the propose activity must be included in the VIHFA Action Plan and the entity must follow VIHFA’s Subrecipient Checklist which begins with the Capacity Assessment.

Magens Junction apartments, Phase 2, will include 60 new construction apartments contained in a nine story building with ground floor amenity space. The building will be served by two high efficiency KONE elevators. The unit mix includes 30 one bedroom / one bath apartments and 30 two bedroom / two bath apartments.

We are also charged with maintaining the harbors in the territory. The law stipulates that VIPA must make its properties available to the public so that the populace may reap the benefits of these facilities.

The institution offers 47 undergraduate and graduate degree programs across its five colleges and schools.
